AMAC Football Tournament

AND…… THE WINNER IS AMAC I FOOTBALL TEAM

3rd AMAC football Tournament was held at Losan Park this weekend with the participation of many AMAC members, IIS (International Interaction Society) members, their families and soccer fans.

Participants of the tournament were AMAC I, AMAC II, USA, GEORGIA, ITALY, UKRAINE and FRANCE.

Founded at the end of September 2006, AMAC football team celebrated its 3rd anniversary with its traditional tournament.

The Dean of the Military Attaché Corps and Pakistani Defense Attache Air Commodore Wasim Hussain, although did not participate in the tournament, was present from start to end and handed the trophies at the end of the ceremony.

The event also marked two birthdays of two popular personalities of AMAC community.  Both Col. Charles (Chuck) Schneider, the US Embassy Defense and Air Attaché, and Col. Johann (Hans) Hornung, the Austrian Defense Attache, turned 50.  While Hans was given a special jersey with “50” written on it, Chuck received a handmade Austrian “Lederhosn”.

The final game of the tournament was played by both AMAC teams and the results were as :
