Canada National Day celebrated by a garden party

On the occasion of Canada Day Ambassador of Canada Marc Bailey and Raja hosted a garden party at their beautiful residence garden in Incek which they are occupying while their own residence in town is being renovated.

The day was marked by a festive atmosphere with the participation of Matt Masters a 33 year old artist from Calgary, Alberta. Matt writes and performs original and traditional western Canadian cowboy music. So with the cowboy hats distributed to guests and Matt’s songs guests spent a very different and lovely social event.

Many members of the diplomatic corps headed by the Dean and Ambassador of Oman Mohammed Nasser Al-Wohaibi, many members of AMAC, many Turkish businessman and members of Turkish community attended the event. Surprise guests were daughter Gigi, son in law Curtis and grandson Zachi of the ambassadorial couple.

Only thing shadowed the beautiful event was the catering which I am not going to mention who they are here. But next time the company should be more careful and be better prepared not to over shadow such a beautiful events.
