Farewell Reception

Danish Ambassadorial Couple Bids Farewell 

Ambassador of Denmark Jesper Vahr and his wife Ann hosted a reception to bid farewell to their colleagues and friends at their beautiful residence before they left for Ambassador’s new post to which he was appointed as Private Assistant to NATO Secretary-General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, in April.

Although there was a brief rain just before the reception, during the event there was a beautiful weather.   Almost all heads of missions of EU countries including France, Sweden, Greece, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Austria, Latvia, Bulgaria, Estonia, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Ambassadors of Croatia, Serbia, India, Russia along with Deputy Undersecretary Unal Cevikoz, Selim Kuneralp and Zergun Koruturk were among the guests.   Also former Minister and President of the European Union Harmonization Commission of the TGNA, Ambassador Yasar Yakis was present at the event.   Businessman Kaan Asena and his elegant wife Yasemin, Refii Berent and his wife Maria were also among the crowd of guests. 

The catering done by Spice was super and the guests enjoyed and appreciated the various dishes prepared.
