Dean’s garden party to welcome summer

The Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Oman Mohammed Nasser       Al-Wohaibi hosted a buffet dinner at his new residence’s beautiful garden             to welcome summer.

The party was attended by many Heads of Diplomatic Missions and was also an opportunity to get to know the new comers, such as the new Ambassador of       Bosnia & Herzegovina Dragoljub Ljepoja who will soon be presenting his credentials, the new Ambassador of the TRNC  Namik Korhan as well as the new Counsellor of the German Embassy Prof. Dr. Pascal Hector who attended the event as

Chargé d’Affaires.

The Ambassador of Yemen Noria Al-Hamami was present with her two beautiful nieces who are here for a few more days from the US to visit their aunt.

Guests enjoyed the lamb and chicken “doner” (known as chevirme by the Arab world) and varieties of rice prepared by Ambassador’s wife, despite the clouds that hung over them all through the event.
