Farewell to AMAC Football Player

Bidding farewell to a member of AMAC football team

AMAC football team gathers on Saturdays and plays football even if there is 30cm of snow on the field. However this Saturday they got together to bid farewell to their teammate Omar Nagar, the assistant of Israeli Defense Attaché.

Although Omar came to Ankara only about a year ago, he had captured many hearts with his warm character and also by his proficiency in football.   So the event was full of all kinds of emotions.

The team members including Ambassadors of Ukraine and Poland and many AMAC members along with some members of Diplomatic Corps first played for two hours and then at the end of the game, headed by Austrian Defense Attache Johann (Hans) Hornung, signed a soccer ball and after the farewell speech delivered by Hornung handed him the ball, together with a certificate and wished him luck.
