Dancing Night at the French Embassy

Under the auspices of the French Ambassador Bernard Emie and his wife Isabele, “Bonjour Ankara” and UNHCR organised a dancing night at the French Embassy.

The event was a charity party to support the refugees in Turkey.

The party which started at early hours of the evening, enabled guests to dance until late hours.

Please note that….

The Ankara Refugee Support Group, ARSG, organizes lunches to around 60 refugees waiting for an interview at the UNHCR every weekday.    They support families with supermarket coupons and bus tickets. They help refugees with health problems and they supply second hand clothes, sanitary and baby products.

If you have ever wondered what you can do to make an impact on someone while you are in Ankara, here you are.

ARSG is a group of people living in Ankara who want to help asyllum seekers.

There is an easy way for you and your friends to help.   For just $50-$60, you could provide lunches for up to 60 refugees.    It only takes about 1 ˝ hours one day per month.   You could get together with your friends and make lunches and deliver them to UNHCR.    Groups of two or three work great!    You are welcome to “shadow” a group one day to see how easy and fun it is.
