We shared the same road…..

Ambassador of France Bernard Emie and his wife Isabel hosted a reception to bid farewell to three outgoing members of the Embassy at their beautiful garden.

After the speech delivered by Ambassador Emie, outgoing First Counsellor Antoine Anfre, Second Counsellor Francois-Xavier Reymond and  Counsellor in charge of Communication and Press Bertrand Buchwalter also delivered their speeches and farewell to guests.

Buchwalter, who delivered his speech in perfect Turkish, after spending one third of his life here in Turkey, started his speech by quoting Prime Minister Erdogan and said to all his colleagues and friends “We shared the same road for the past three years…..”

The event went on until late hours of the night as the crowd of guests enjoyed champagne & caviar along with smooth weather in a great atmosphere.
