In the celebration of His Majesty the Emperor and the 20^th Anniversary of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne, the Ambassador Nobuaki Tanaka hosted a reception at Swissotel.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertugrul Gunay was the guest of honor of the celebration which was participated by Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Italy Carlo Marsili, heads of missions, deputy heads of missions, AMAC members, bureaucrats, former ministers and Turkish businessmen.

A high number of guests crowded the Anatolia Ballroom as 2010 is disclosed as Japanese Year in Turkey and they had the opportunity get a glimpse of Japanese culture as there was a Kimono show, sushi prepared by Sushico, “sake” served until late hours of the night.

One of the many surprise guests of the event was general Manager of Etihad Airways Fatos Kutay who flew in from Istanbul for the event. Another surprise guest was the Ambassador of India Raminder Singh Jassal who returned from the US after a mild health problem.
