Ramadan Feast (Eid ul-Fitr) at Malaysian Embassy

On the first day of Ramadan Holidays, Ambassador of Malaysia Dato’ Saipul Anuar Abd. Muin and his wife Datin Rokiah Kamarudin hosted a reception and a luncheon at their residence in a traditional way.

The reception took place at late hours of the morning which was attended by Diplomatic Corps members but the real event started after the reception with the attendance of embassy staff members and friends of the Malaysian Embassy in Ankara.

Guests enjoyed the delicious traditional Malaysian dishes prepared by all Malaysian ladies including Datin Rokiah. Then as the tradition goes in Muslim countries, all kids lined up to pay their respect and kissed the Ambassador, his wife and Counsellor of the Embassy Badli Hisham who gave them presents.   The youngest of the kids who was on the line was Ambassador’s 4 months old grandchild Emil Rayyan who lined up in the arms of his father Anas Izwan while the mother (Ambassador’s daughter) Aireen Zureen took pictures of the beautiful moment.

The surprise guests of the event were Ambassador’s in-laws who are here in Ankara for a visit, Dzulkhaini Husain (father) and Maraziah Ayob (mother).
