Social and Diplomatic Events in Ankara

	Embassy of Egypt celebrated National Day On the occasion of the National Day, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Alaa El Hadidi and his charming wife Randa Labib Hassan Mostafa hosted an unforgettable reception. The event took place at the four levelled garden of the Egyptian residence, which was fully crowded by guests. Among them were former President Suleyman Demirel, former State Minister and AK Party Deputy Kursad Tuzmen, head of Parliament’s EU Harmonization Committee Yasar Yakis, many members of the Turkish Foreign Ministry. Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman Mohammed Nasser Al-Wohaibi headed many HOM’s and DHM’s. Also most of the AMAC members were present at the event. Deputy Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioglu, who previously served as Turkey’s Ambassador to Israel and who is an expert in Middle Eastern affairs and who has newly been appointed as the new Undersecretary of the MFA, replacing Ambassador Ertuğrul Apakan was one of the prominent figures of the event accepting good wishes. Also AK Party Deputy Tuzmen was another person receiving congratulations after swimming across the Bosphorus recently. The event went on until very late hours while guests enjoyed the “Falafel”, “Umm Ali” (Egyptian bread pudding) and many more dishes catered by Divan Hotel, along with beautiful Egyptian music playbacked from the speakers.
