Reception at the

Embassy of the Netherlands

	A farewell and welcome reception at Dutch Embassy On the occasion of the departure of Netherlands Embassy Defense Attaché Col. Tom Wesselingh RNLMC and his wife Dieck Wesselingh-Schroots and to welcome their successor Col. Peter Klijn RNL Marechaussee the Charge d’Affaires Tom van Oorschot and his wife Jacqueline Van Oorschot-Claassen hosted a reception at the beautiful residence of the Dutch Embassy. Almost all members of AMAC headed by Dean of the Military Attaché Corps and Bangladeshi Defense Attaché Brig. Gen. Mir Md Shahidul Islam and many Turkish friends of the Wesselingh couple were present at the event. After a farewell speech delivered by Chargé d’Affaires Oorrschot also Dean Islam delivered a speech and instead of the traditional tray presented him a nice golden letter opener sword on behalf of all the AMAC members in Turkey. Also US defense attaché’s wife Lizie Schneider made a brief speech and handed Dieck who worked hard for International Charities Community a present on behalf of AMAC members spouses.
