Reception by DHM of Portugal

A cozy reception hosted by Portuguese DHM

The new Deputy Head of Mission of Portugal Paulo Patricio Mendes hosted his first reception at his beautiful residence for DHM’s of EU countries and some other friends from other walks of life to say hello.

Guests gathered at Mendes’ nice residence which has influence of Brazil where he served before Turkey and stayed until very late hours of the night.

Apart from DHM and Counsellor of Greece, DHM’s of Spain, Slovakia, Estonia, and Sweden were present. Also the Belgian DHM Arnaud Dusaucy, who only came to Turkey almost a year ago and is unfortunately leaving in a month and who became a father only a month ago was among those who enjoyed the beautiful reception.  Other guests were Engin Soner, Head of Department of Directorate General for Economic Affairs and his sweet wife, EU Represenation's Counsellor Diego Mellado Pascua and his elegant wife Catherine, Ozgen Acar of Cumhuriyet newspaper and businesswoman Belig Gureller who came all the way from Istanbul just for the event.

The selected number of guests, while getting the chance of being able to talk to one and other in a warm atmosphere also had the opportunity to enjoy the delicious catering prepared by Big Chefs.
