Slovakian Embassy celebrate National Day & Armed Forces Day

On the occasion of the National Day of the Slovak Republic, Ambassador Vladimir Jakabcin and his sweet wife Olga, and Col. Boris Durkech and his wife Renata hosted a reception at Ankara Swiss Hotel.

 Economy Minister Mehmet Simsek and Tourism and Culture Minister Ertugrul Gunay were present at the celebration representing the government. Many heads of missions, deputy heads of missions and AMAC members along with Turkish friends of the embassy were also present at the event.

The Ambassadorial couple welcomed almost each guest in their traditional costumes and they even sang Slovakian songs with some other guests at the celebration.

There was a rich buffet prepared by the Ambassador’s wife Olga which gave a chance to the guests to try Slovakian dishes.
